DURHAM, N.C. -
A fallen tree in Durham has injured one person and has several lanes of N. Roxboro Road closed.
The Durham Police Department says officers were called to 5381 N. Roxboro Rd. around 6:55 Thursday morning regarding a traffic accident.
A tree has fallen onto a vehicle, and has closed all but one lane of traffic between Crestview Drive and Infinity Road, according to officials.
Police say the occupant of the vehicle has sustained minor injuries.
Traffic on Roxboro Road is being allowed to flow southbound in the one lane that is open. All northbound traffic is being diverted onto Infinity Rd.
Police an Urban Forestry are on scene working to clear the area.
