A North Carolina couple has been sentenced on misdemeanor charges in a case involving abusing other adults during Satan worship.
Joseph Scott Craig, 25, and his 30-year-old wife Joy Johnson were each sentenced Friday to two 60-day suspended sentences and a year of probation.
Search warrants said the victims were a man and a woman who moved in with Craig and Johnson after they became friends through their satanic interests.
The victims say Craig beat them, shackled them to beds, kept them in dog cages and starved them.
Craig entered an Alford plea, which means he maintained his innocence but acknowledged prosecutors had enough evidence for a conviction. Johnson pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting her husband.

Now for the question of prayer. Yes! Healing of cancer, complete turn around of a persons behavior, and my own alcohol addiction without any pains or further desire to return to drinking. Its been 12 yrs now. One question for "Atheist"! Since uou know HIS name, why not talk with HIM? He is waiting for you!!!!!

I was plesently suprosed to see "Atheist" begin his/her retort of my coments by calling on the name of "Christ"! However, it is just not logical to do so and then rail about those who have a meaningful relationship with our Lord! Having said that, I would like to agree with "atheist" on of his/her point Of punishment. Yes, the acts of these two individuals were deplorable!!! Thats why the "Word" tells us to obey the civil laws and respect those in athority. Civil law will have the last word in thier punishment and rightly so... H

Do any of you idiots actually bother to figure out what you're talking about before you judge? The "starving" and "locked in a dog cage" episodes lasted for all of THREE hours, according to numerous prior news stories. This whole story is about trailer trash sex games gone wrong and the case is a joke, created by some dumb ass fundamentalist Christian prosecutor who believed wildly exaggerated allegations. Someone owes Durham County a boatload of money for all the money that was wasted on this bogus case.

Oh, for Christ's sake, you people spouting your verse and praying--you think that's going to help? Really? Seriously, think long and hard about how many times deep, heartfelt prayer has truly worked for you that there could have been no other reason or way for what you prayed for to happen. The only way these people will learn anything is if they're convicted to the fullest extent of the law. Even then, it's questionable, but at least it's a better solution than prayer. Reading the Bible would be enough to turn me into a Satanist, btw. What kind of crap is that?

We need to pray for both of these couples and all who are deceived by the deceiver! Remember, John 3:16 sets up one of the most profound verses in the Bible. John 3:17......

The devil is loose! This situation is an abomination! We as a nation need to turn from our evil ways! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light! Forgive us Lord God, because we still do not know what we do! (In Jesus' name)
