Police are looking into a Durham police car that was found vandalized and burning Sunday night.
Kammie Michael, public information officer for the Durham Police Department, said an officer had parked the car in a locked, fenced in area while he was off duty. When officers arrived around 8:20 p.m. they found the 1999 marked Ford Crown Victoria had been vandalized.
Michael said the incident happened on the 4600 block of Hillsborough Road.
No suspects have been named and the police department continues to investigate the case.
