DURHAM, N.C. -
On Thursday evening, Durham's school board recognized Jordan High science teacher William Vincent. Vincent has been selected to participate in a fellowship program with the National Science teachers Association.
According to DPS, Vincent was one of 185 teachers selected from out of 800 applications nationwide to be a part of the New Science Teacher Academy. Teachers in the program will be mentored by fellow science teachers, and participate in web-based seminars and other activities.
