Durham Mayor Bill Bell stepped up to the mic to help promote TROSA.
The group, Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers, kicked off a fundraising event known as Carolaoke.
The mobile karaoke stage rolled by city hall Monday and in exchange for singing a holiday song, people got a voucher good toward a TROSA tree.
"TROSA does an excellent job in this community for the customers and for Durham itself. We're a better off community," said Durham Mayor Bill Bell.
Carolaoke will make stops around town for the next two weeks.
