DURHAM, N.C. -
Durham police have identified a man who was killed in a single-vehicle accident Saturday night as 33-year-old Todd Anthony Gray of Raleigh.
According to authorities, Gray was driving a Toyota Camry east on U.S. 70 just past Interstate 85. Gray lost control of his vehicle as he came out of a curve around 10:15 p.m. Officials say Gray’s Camry slid across the road, ran off to the left, hit a guardrail and flipped over into the median.
Gray was partially ejected from his car and emergency crews pronounced Gray dead on the scene.
The accident blocked part of U.S. 70 for more than two hours. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
