A lunch time gas line break at the American Tobacco campus in Durham caused little interruption, according to officials.
Maintenance workers at the American Tobacco Campus say that they found a leaky line around noon on Monday. Crews responded and fixed the line in about 15 minutes.
The broken line was reported at 318 Blackwell Street near the Symposium Cafe.
Angie Townsend with PSNC, the natural gas company that responded to the incident, confirmed a gas line was hit.
Townsend said crews fixed the line within minutes. She said evacuations for the building were not necessary.
