DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham resident and MBA grad, Bryce Batts, 29, launches online boutique, Clothes Hound (www.shopclotheshound.com), with a clear vision - to offer the latest in women's clothing at affordable prices. Everything is priced under $150 with earrings starting at $12.

"I started Clothes Hound with no capital, just a passion for my idea," said Clothes Hounds CEO, Bryce Batts. "I know what it's like to fall in love with a piece of designer clothing and not be able to afford it. I really believe that people should be able to dress well without spending a ton of money."

Retailing from $12 to $150, Clothes Hound's hard-to-find contemporary brands of clothing, handbags and jewelry are hand-selected and include pieces from Canada, as well as eco-friendly lines and garments made from organic material. Among the selection: Free People, Karlie, Park Vogel, Saint Grace, Peel, Melanie Renee, 213 Industry and more.

"Clothes Hound carries brands that if purchased at the mall would cost two or three times more," said Bryce. "Shoppers can create an entire outfit from shoes, jewelry and handbags . . . affordably."

Clothes Hound's mix of classic design and trendy flare is sure to impress the discerning clientele of not only Durham, but throughout the rest of the world. There are only a few sizes of each piece to help keep down duplication, especially in the Triangle.
