DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham police investigators are trying to find Tremain Antoine Jones who has been charged with robbing a man on New Year's Day on East Main Street.

A 30-year-old male told officers he was walking on East Main Street near Commerce Street around 10:45 a.m. on January 1 when two men yelled at him and then punched him in the head with their fists. He said one man also kicked the victim in the head. The two males took the victim's wallet and cash then left.

The victim went to Duke University Hospital for treatment.

Durham Police said Jones, 31, of no known address, is charged with common-law robbery.

Anyone with information on Jones' whereabouts is asked to call Investigator C.C. Green at 560-4406, ext. 271 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
