Lately it seems that every time I turn on the news there is another story about the horrible state of our economy. Foreclosures at record highs, thousands of jobs slashed, budget cuts, prices going up—you name it. Today here at the DPLC we too have been economic victims but today we got some very good news! After years of looking at blank, boring, grey walls we are getting a mural! Our wall is being decorated by none other than Loren Pease. She was formerly a high school art teacher for the Durham Public School system. Currently she is the owner of Sweet Pease. Her company creates beautiful murals for both commercial and residential clients. In addition Loren does commercial canvas paintings. Visit her website at www.sweetpease.us.
