Gather with family and friends to celebrate and benefit the lives of Wake County's homeless animals at the "Rock 4 Pets" event at Cary's Booth Ampitheatre at 5 p.m. April 19.

Enjoy a Sunday afternoon listening to music performed by local musicians, meeting animals available for adoption, and learning how to support the animal care and welfare programs provided by local governments and nonprofit groups.

Help us raise awareness of the pet overpopulation problem in our community by banding together to "Rock 4 Pets." Who knows, you may even bring home a new best friend of the four-legged variety.

Bands Include: Rootzie, The Loners, The Hevy Pets, Arielle Bryant and Bomb Sniffin' Dawgs. The event is free and open to the public.

No pets are allowed. Picnics, lawn chairs, blankets, small umbrellas and cameras are allowed.
