ROLESVILLE, N.C. -
Police are investigating an assault at East Wake High School, school officials said Tuesday.
According to officials at Wake County schools, a student called 911 at about 4:50 p.m. to report an assault.
The Wake County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
Sheriff Donnie Harrison said no one was raped, but there may have been a possible attempted assault. He said deputies will review surveillance tapes.
