DURHAM, N.C. -
According to Durham Public Schools, Durham School of the Arts Senior Brittany Pritchett placed third in the state for her Teen Girls in Fitness business plan for the Hop on the Bus! Business Plan Competition.
Brittany received a $250 award presented by Dr. June Atkinson, Superintendent of Public Instruction, at a reception/awards ceremony.
Her Small Business teacher is Debora Surbrook. Hop on the Bus! is sponsored by the Rural EDS project led by the NC Rural Development Center in partnership with NC REAL Enterprises, 4H, Junior Achievement and Public Schools of North Carolina.
