DURHAM, N.C. -
Durham police investigators have arrested Dominique Deshawn Toomer. He was wanted in connection with a shooting last Wednesday night on Colfax Street.
Investigators say several people were standing near the intersection of Linwood Avenue and Colfax Street shortly before 9 p.m. when shots were fired at them from a silver Jeep. An 18-year-old man was shot in the arm and taken to Duke University Hospital for treatment.
Toomer, 19, who has addresses on South Roxboro Street and Gerard Street, charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
