Durham police are seeking information regarding an attempted robbery at Los Primos Supermarket on East Main Street.

Police say the robbery took place last Friday afternoon around 2:30 p.m.  According to a store employee, a man wearing safety goggles and a white dust mask entered the store with a gun and demanded money.  The employee told the suspect he would have to get the money from the office.

The suspect fled the store without stealing any money because he saw the employee get a gun from the office.  He fled the scene in a 2-door, gray Buick Regal.

The suspect, seen in the surveillance photo, was last seen wearing a white UNC baseball cap with “Heels” on the front, a gray t-shirt and light colored jeans.
