DURHAM, N.C. -

About 100 new jobs are coming to downtown Durham.

The law offices of James Scott Farrin announced Tuesday that it will move to the American Tobacco Campus.

The staff will occupy the Diamond View II building that overlooks left field in the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

The firm started in Durham 12 years ago. Right now the headquarters is near the airport off Interstate-40. The President and Founder of the firm said he wants his employees to feed off of the energy in downtown.

"We wanted a home base that would help us do that - where we could tap into the ideas and creativity of a community and not be isolated by ourselves," said James Scott Farrin.

The move makes the firm one of downtown Durham's largest employers.
