  I'm curious as to why people always point out that most child molestors are straight males. Since the entire world population is comprised of heterosexuals, one would naturally assume they would have more victims. Duh!! So, help me to understand what you mean. Are you saying that since gay pedophiles are a smaller segment of the population and will consequently rape fewer children that we should simply disregard the few unforunates that they do rape? Is that it? Please, God, let that not be what you are saying. But, I will tell you this. If a straight male insisted upon adopting a young girl, fairly or unfairly, it would raise questions in my mind, political correctness be damned! I would certainly scrutinize him more. Yet, gays and their supporters seem to be telling us that we should never question gay men adopting male children. Why is that?

You should see what wsa on this perverts Amazon wish list before the scrubbed it! As for most child molesters being hets, this is true, only 33% of jailed child molesters are homosexual. However, further analysis of the math is very troubling: By the homosexual groups own estimates, they number approximately 10% of the population. Assuming this is true (doubtful - probably closer to 3 or 4%), this means only 10% of the population is responsible for 33% of the child molesting. Furthermore, prison interviews indicate that homosexual molesters have, on average, many more victims than their hetero counterparts. Thus, there are probably thousands of cases that go unreported every year, as was the case with the Catholic Church eruption a few years ago. BTW, that scandal was almost completely homosexually perpetrated. This says something - keep your kids away from them to be on the safe side. I don't care who's offended by this sentiment - deal with it.

  Who is this person who witnesses the sexual acts perpetrated on this child and never reported it? The child could have been saved years of trauma had this person reported it the first time he/she witnessed it. This person is just as guilty and sick minded as Lombard and should be charged with the same charges as Lombard. As for you gay bashers out there, most pedophiles are heterosexual-that's a proven fact. I an very heterosexual, but have had many homosexual friends in my lifetime. Never, did any one of them ever lay a hand on a child imp;roperly. and they all would condemn Lombard for what he did. being homosexual does not automatically make you a child sexual predator.   Do not be politically correct on this one. Speak The truth, which is: Same-Sex-Pedophilia is homosexual by definition. In this case, the criminal had a preference for a very young subject to practice his "lifestyle" with. Too many homosexuals present an unecessary risk for their intended victims. The risk can be minimized by registering homosexuals as a class of "Sex Offenders". Laws should be passed ASAP that will allow these sex offenders to fully repent and voluntarily undergo "Reparative Therapy" (behavior modification)that has proven effective when thse subjects are sincere. If Homosexuals refuse to change, the government should chemically castrate them with hormone therapies or maybe track/monitor them through implanted RFID technology. Was this Lombard Deviant simply given the Adoption Green-Light, because of his title and position at Duke University? This is not about heterosexuality or homosexuality..this is most definitely about how these adoptions occurred in the first place...of which I have seen relatively few comments made about whether here or elsewhere in reports. I really would like to see a full investigation into how these adoptions were approved and by whom! The Adoption Approvers also need to be sitting in the Hot-Seat...because without 'their' approval, these poor children would never have been put in the custody of this horrific deviant. What did this child-rapists Home-study consist of? Was there even one? Was the adoption granted simply because of his title and position at Duke University? Are less stringent adoption requirements required for black/hispanic/minority children? One really, really has to question how & why these children came to be in the custody of this child-rapist in the first place...

  First and foremost, Frank Lombard is a sociopath. Only a sociopath could have no regard for the emotional and physical well-being of another human being, particularly that of an innocent child. Once we can accept that personality disorder, we can move beyond the discussion of homosexuality vs. heterosexuality and child molestation. Parents and teachers need to re-evaluate how and what we teach children about identifying dangerous people who will cross their paths. Lombard's partner, co-workers and friends were obviously ill-equipped to identify him as sociopath, and yet there were doubtless numerous incidents that would have provided clues. Unfortunately, in this politically-correct climate, too many people are unwilling or unable to make logical, value-judgements about another's behavior, especially when that person is gay. I have no doubt that Lombard's heterosexual family and friends have chalked up his behavior to being gay; and his partner is no different than the girl friend or wife of a hetero predator who turns a blind eye to the obvious for their own reasons. There is no 'cure' for pedophilia (homo or hetero) because they are sociopaths. These people will never control their disgusting impulses because they don't want to. That is why the 20 yr. sentence that Lombard is facing is so offensive. It's time to put pedophiles in forensic hospitals for life.

In other words, 32 percent of those child molestation cases involved homosexuals. Nearly a third of these cases come from only 1-2% of the population.

Using circular logic, you suggest that then that heterosexual men must not adopt little girls. Or heterosexual women must not adopt little boys. Rest easy--97% of all child sexual abuse is heterosexual. Now, let's focus on the facts of the case like normal people.

  Absolutely horrifying, but people like Barbara here are idiots. This has nothing to do with sexual preference. Most child sexual abuse involves heterosexual men molesting girls, including their own children. Should all heterosexuals be barred from adopting.

  There were two other children at home who were taken into protective custody. Were they adoptees as well? Is this monster a single 'dad'? As for his being a homosexual, I don't know that they are statistically any more likely to be child molesters than heterosexuals, but that is nuance that doesn't matter much. Our laws should be changed so that they are emasculated after being found guilty. There is no cure for this condition other than removal of sexual desire and apparatus. I hope the other prisoners kill him not have sex with him ...

  Log Cabin Republicans of North Carolina in their strongest language have denounced as deplorable the alleged acts of this licensed clinical social worker and Duke healthcare policy analyst. According to their Web site, they are the first to do so in the state and call on Equality NC to do the same. "Pedophiles must be given the harshest punishment," they say. Unless Equality NC does the same, they collaborate in such behaviors. LCR North Carolina is a gay rights group that supports adoption by homosexuals. *Log Cabin Republicans of NC has also taken issue with Equality NC in other recent child protective issues, e.g., SB 526. That measure just passed the General Assembly with House Speaker Joe Hackney casting the deciding vote.

  Why on EARTH are homosexual men allowed to adopt little boys? Percentage wise, homosexuals strip little boys of their lives forcing anal and oral sex acts far more than heterosexuals...there was NO MOTHER in that house to keep this pervert from trying to get a stranger to rape his own adopted child!Put him in stocks and let the people of NC take care of him. Or....FORCE HIM TO HAVE SEX with a WOMAN! (And of course, while in prison, make sure all the boys have a chance to pleasure him.)

  I agree with jerry. I read this story and just fely EXTREMELY disgusted!!!! Those poor children! how dare he!.. If the death penalty is applicable in NC, this is one instance where it should be used if possible.
