More than 1,200 people responded to a retail options survey conducted by the town of Holly Springs last month, officials said.
Full results will be released during the town council meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Council Chambers upstairs in Holly Springs Town Hall at 128 S. Main St.
The Department of Economic Development administered a 17-question retail options survey online as part of its ongoing efforts to build a strong business climate in Holly Springs and identify retail development projects that residents support.
In one month, from July 8 through Aug 10, the survey received a total of 1,243 responses.
Holly Springs Economic Development Director Jenny Mizelle said the survey results will help developers attract new businesses.
"We thought if we could tell the broker what services people want, it would help them close the deal and get the services for our residents," Mizelle said.
