FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

A man charged with the 2009 Memorial Day weekend murder of his girlfriend has been charged with the death of a second woman.

Keith Devon Manuel, 32, has been held in the Cumberland County Detention Center since he was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Georgia earlier this summer.

Manuel fled Fayetteville after learning Cumberland County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives had warrants for his arrest for the death of 35-year old Jessica Morgan. Morgan's body was found inside her S-U-V near Stedman on May 29.

Wednesday Manuel was charged with the November 2006 murder of 45-year old Alfreda Scott Jones. Jones was reported missing from her home at 1470 Distinct Circle.

Manuel continues to be held in the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond. He will make a first court appearance on Thursday in the Detention Center Courtroom at 2:30 p.m.
