DURHAM, N.C. -
Durham police are investigating a deadly accident that happened around 10:29 p.m. Saturday night at Fayetteville Street and Caribou Crossing.
According to the police report, 28-year-old Octavius Delrae Harrell was traveling southbound on Fayetteville Street when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a pole. Harrell was taken to Duke University Hospital, where he died.
Investigators say speed was a factor in the accident and they continue to investigate the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call Investigator Cox at 560-4935, ext. 29409.

my boyfriend octavius harrell was not speeding. There is a bump in the road that the city needs to check on. thank you.
