Bank celebrates grand opening of 31st branch

Raleigh, N.C. - Sept. 8, 2009 - Capital Bank will commemorate the grand opening of its newest branch on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 5070 Kentworth Dr. in Holly Springs (at the intersection of Main Street and State Highway 55 Bypass). The occasion marks the bank’s entry into the Holly Springs market. Local dignitaries, bank associates and special guests including NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour racecar driver Burt Myers will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

Bob Myers, senior vice president for Capital Bank, serves as the Holly Springs city executive. “It is an honor to be back in the growing, thriving community of Holly Springs,” Myers said. “I have strong roots here and it is a great opportunity to serve the customers here and bring them the innovative products and services we as a community bank offer.”

A staff of five Capital Bank associates will serve customers in Holly Springs including Myers and Assistant Branch Manager Connie Rogers. The two-story location also features full-service banking amenities such as a 24-hour ATM machine, two drive-through teller lanes and the always-popular fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Artwork by local artist Roxanna (Rocky) Alexander will also be unveiled at the grand opening ceremony.
