Business executives in North Carolina cities are hearing how American companies can improve the country's standing and reputation in the world.
A founding board member of the New York-based Business for Diplomatic Action is speaking Wednesday in Research Triangle Park with corporate executives. Tom Miller spoke in Charlotte on Tuesday.
Miller's organization is pushing the message that businesses have a big role in how highly regarded the U.S. is overseas, which helps determine how much other countries want to help America achieve its goals.
Miller formerly worked with the worldwide public opinion and market research Roper Organization, and with a think-tank based in Paris.
