LUMBERTON, N.C. --
A student at Lumberton High School has tested positive for Tuberculosis, according to Robeson County school officials.
Al Kahn, spokesperson for the school, says the school was notified on Monday about the student. Kahn said letters have been sent out to parents and a second set of letters were sent to parents that have children who may have been exposed to TB.
Potentially exposed students will be tested in school tomorrow. An information session will also be held Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the school auditorium for families who have further questions about TB.
Less than a week ago, a student at Durham's Northern High School tested positive for TB.
