The Regional Transportation Alliance will host a forum to discuss solutions to relieve traffic congestion at busy intersections in the Triangle.
Several local engineering firms -- including AECOM; ARCADIS; Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc.; PB Americas; PBS&J; Ramey Kemp & Associates; Wetherill Engineering; Wilbur Smith Associates; and WSP Sells -- are donating their time and expertise in cooperation with noted intersection innovations experts Joel Leisch, PE for PBS&J; Joe Hummer, Ph.D., PE of N.C. State University; and Jonathan Reid, PE of PB Americas.
The participants will review current and potential low-cost solutions to several intersections identified by municipal partners and NCDOT.
The forum will be held at Lenovo headquarters at 2 p.m. Thursday.
