Grand Jury Meetings Continue For Easley Case

RALEIGH, N.C. -

The Federal Grand Jury investigating former Gov. Mike Easley's activities while in office heard more testimonies Thursday.

Former NC State employee Wendy Brown testified, but her attorney said they could not comment on the details of the questioning.

The Grand Jury is also looking into how former First Lady Mary Easley got her position at the university.

Two state environmental engineers are also expected in court later this afternoon.

Easley is also being looked into for land deals he got on his coastal property along with questionable travel expenses while serving.

The grand jury will meet montly for at least a year.
