RALEIGH, N.C.—ME³ has announced that tickets are now available for its first annual Couture for a Cause fashion show. Couture for a Cause, a fun fashion show aimed at raising funds to help ME³ promote volunteerism in Wake County and raising awareness of ME³, will be held from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 at Marbles Kids Museum, located in downtown Raleigh. October 23rd was the Couture for A Cause, a benefit produced by ME3. ME3 is an organization connecting volunteers to opportunities. Non-profits can post requests for volunteers and describe our needs; a service Grow And Share has been happy to have at our disposal. Volunteers then search opportunities and volunteer for tasks of interest to them. Couture for A Cause was a great event! There was a large (sold out) crowd, interesting couture, delicious food, and much more! We enjoyed attending this event. It was a pleasure to be there, to see the dress designed for Grow And Share, and to chat with the designer. We also saw the flurry of bidding when “our” dress went up for auction. My daughter attended with me and was captivated by the happenings. This was a quality event, and I commend the organizers for all the little details that they managed superbly.
