West Cary location follows new Holly Springs branch

Raleigh, N.C.—Oct. 7, 2009 - Capital Bank will commemorate the grand opening of its newest branch on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 7705 Carpenter Fire Station Rd. in Cary. Local dignitaries, bank associates and special guests including the voice of ACC sports and Raleigh-based Sports Radio 850 The Buzz (WRBZ-AM), David Glenn, will be on hand to celebrate the event. Glenn will be broadcasting his daily sports talk show from the new branch from 3 to 6 p.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m.

"Our new branch is in a perfect location to serve residents of this growing area of Western Wake County as well as commuters working in Research Triangle Park," said Mike Schmidt, branch manager in west Cary. "We are well positioned to serve customers traveling NC Highway 55 on one end in west Cary and on the other with the Capital Bank Holly Springs location which opened last month."

The west Cary branch features full-service banking amenities such as a 24-hour ATM machine, two drive-through teller lanes and the always-popular fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Artwork by local artist Nicole White Kennedy will also be unveiled at the grand opening ceremony.
