Raleigh, NC -- October 14, 2009—Boomer Diva Nation and The Business Divas of the social networking group Inside919, have teamed up to produce the 3rd Annual Boomer Diva Nation Girlfriend's Weekend October 15-18,2009. Olalah Njenga, a B2B marketing strategist, is one of five social media panelists discussing the ways companies and individuals can leverage social media to achieve business goals.
Njenga comments, "Not all social networking platforms should be used in the same manner. Social networks are tools, and like other marketing tools, having a plan that includes purpose, use and implementation strategy is necessary. Social media can be a very powerful force if used in conjunction with other tools in a well-balanced marketing mix. The key is in having a marketing mix that makes sense for your business goals."
