  Only speeedy trial NC AG Roy T Cooper had was when he joined the Duke Defense Laywers in persecting Crystal Mangum in a Media Trial. Cooper has used the media to proclaim he is protecting children from predators. I find the opposite to be true due to the practice of letting them plead down and get probation only.

  Out on bond is he from an arrest in 2006 for first-degree sexual assault. Here we are in 2009 and he has been looming about for 3 years. What does this tell us about our judicial system? By law we are suppose to have a speedy trial, rather than having attorneys put if off, off and off again. This type of crime is sinister as it is perpetrated on innocent children, let the system has let him walk in our neighborhoods, stalking other children for 3 years. This stinks and is itself a crime. Lock this twisted pervert up, provide the necessary evidence, have him found guilty and sentenced to serve the rest of sick life in a place where he cannot harm any more children. That will be justice.No plea bargaining for murderers, rapists or child molesters.

  wanted on charges of taking indecent liberties with two boys in 2008. Brown is also charged with two counts of sexual offense with a child in the same case, according to police. Currently out on bond on a charge of first-degree sexual assault from 2006 !! -- 2008 charges of sexual offenses with boys. AND THEY CHOSE TO REPORT THIS in OCTOBER 2009. Thanks for the warning. Guess Roy T. Cooper's protection program for keeping children safe from predators isn't working so well. Wonder what his bond for first degress sexual assault was?
