HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. -
About 10 to 15 homes lost water service after a water line valve broke at the intersection of Main Street and Maple Avenue in Holly Springs Wednesday morning.
The homes affected are located on West Maple Avenue and on the 700 block of Utley Street, according to Amy Moore, the Town's Public Utilities director.
Service was restored at about 2:30 p.m. to homes on West Maple Avenue and the 700 block of Utley Street.
There's no word on what caused the break.
