Just months after eliminating dozens of positions, there's good news for WakeMed employees.
The hospital system announced it is reinstating its employee profit sharing program this December.
WakeMed's more than 7,000 employees will be eligible for a bonus of 1.7 percent of their pay.
The hospital system says they brought the program back after meeting financial goals for the year.

Great news for those that remain. Terrible news for those 85 that were laid off. The article also neglects to say that the employees' 403(b) match will be eliminated.
