The Clayton Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee is proud and honored to co-sponsor a Food Drive with Junior Girl Scout Troop #684.

The Food Drive will take place during the 2009 Christmas Parade on Main Street, Clayton. The Parade and the Food Drive will be held on Saturday, December 12th. The parade will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will head down Main Street.

Troop Leader, Lisa Sacca, has stated the girl scouts will have a float in the parade and will be pulling wagons alongside their float to collect canned good food donations. In addition, there will be two "drop off" locations. Please feel free to drop off your donations at the Clayton Chamber of Commerce Office, 301 E. Main St., Clayton and Edward Jones—Brett Parkis Office, 331 E. Main Street, Clayton.

All food donations will go to a local food pantry. Please bring a canned good with you to the parade or one of the "drop off" locations.

Working together, we CAN make a difference. No one should ever have to go hungry, especially during the holiday season.
