DURHAM, N.C. -
Two Durham men are wanted on charges of kidnapping and extortion, according to police.
Dexter Lavern Hooks, 44, of Angier Avenue and Demario Lashaun "Real" Boyd, 24, of Vickers Ave. are wanted by Durham Police in connection with two cases that were reported during the first week of November.
Both men are charged with first-degree kidnapping, two counts of extortion and one count of assault inflicting serious injury.
Justin Brooks Sharpe and Adrian Whoie have been arrested in connection with the case and placed in the Durham County Jail.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Boyd or Hooks is asked to call Investigator Chappell at 560-4415, ext. 29311 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200.
