It's lights, camera, action in Apex this weekend.

Back Focus Films is producing a 25 minute black and white short film in the heart of the Peak City. The film is entitled ‘A Brush with Murder' the storyline centers around a detective and his wife whom are caught in a blackmail scheme after the death of a local painter in the 1930's.

The group will film Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. They will complete the run on Monday afternoon.

Stay tuned to mync.com for a follow up Monday afternoon. Reporter Jaclyn Asztalos will be on set for the closing act.
