The Cary Church of God is reaching out to their new community.

The church will be holding a school supply drive to benefit Cary Middle School after just moving to their new location on Quade Drive two months ago.

The fundraiser will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 6 in the church parking lot. Youth Pastor Jimmy Boyd said there will be games for the whole family followed by a professional skateboard performance and a grand prize giveaway.

"We don't want to be a church that's just all about our church. God has allowed us to be in this facility and this new place to be a blessing to the community and reach out to them. This is a small way we can begin that," Boyd said.

The church will deliver the supplies to the Middle School on that Monday after the event. If you would like more information click here.
